As one of Australia’s foundational scent work judges, she has played a key role in shaping the discipline nationally.

Beyond scent work, Peta has spent nearly 30 years as a professional animal trainer, working extensively in zoos and the film industry across Australia and the United States. While dogs are her first love, her expertise spans a remarkable range of species—from elephants to vultures. As a trainer and presenter of animal shows on multiple continents, she has taught both performance and husbandry behaviors to a diverse array of animals.

In addition to her work in film and zoos, Peta runs Animal Training Solutions, a Sydney-based consultancy offering expert guidance to companion animal owners, wildlife parks, and zoos. She specializes in improving training practices and developing engaging animal shows.

A Nationally Accredited Trainer, Peta holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is a respected educator in the field.
